Hermés in Paris!

Every fall I try to make it to Paris.  I have done so 4 out of the last 6 years and am scheduled to go again this year.  One of my Paris traditions is buying myself a treat at the Hermés store on avenue Georges V.  Usually I go with a scarf or a Twilly, but this year it will be the Clous en Trompe l'Œil bracelet.  This would look great with a t-shirt and jeans, don't you think?

Which Wine to Choose?

People always ask me what I like to drink at casual dinner parties.  I have two favorites...for around $10 a bottle, Monsieur Touton cannot be beat.  If I am looking at the $20-25 range, I go right to Louis Jadot's Pouilly Fuisse.  I never go wrong with either. Both have a crisp, clean taste and are readily available at my local liquor stores.  And doesn't the Monsieur Touton label look impressive for such a reasonably priced libation?
